The Touchstone® 3.0 Exposure Data Validation Reference includes the following enhancements:

New Models

The Touchstone 3.0 Exposure Data Validation Reference includes support, as applicable, for the following new models introduced in Touchstone 3.0:

  • The AIR Tropical Cyclone Model for Canada
  • The AIR Winter Storm Model for Canada
  • The AIR Inland Flood Model for Central Europe (merged existing Germany model with new models for Austria, Czech Republic, and Switzerland)

Model Updates

The Touchstone 3.0 Exposure Data Validation Reference includes support, as applicable, for the following model updates introduced in Touchstone 3.0:

  • The AIR Hurricane Model for the United States (hurricane and storm surge updates)
  • The AIR Severe Thunderstorm Model for Canada
  • The AIR Earthquake Model for South America (merged existing earthquake models for Columbia, Chile, Venezuela, and Peru and introduced modeling for Ecuadaor)

Exposure Data Enhancements

The Touchstone 3.0 Exposure Data Validation Reference includes support, as applicable, for the following exposure data enhancements introduced in Touchstone 3.0:

  • Introduction of offshore codes for additional offshore regions, enabling you to import and add offshore exposure information for accumulation purposes
  • Addition of Ecuador as a modeled country
  • Updates to construction, occupancy, CRESTA, and area codes for South America
  • Addition of CRESTA codes for Brazil for accumulation
  • Addition of the following non-catastrophe-related exposure fields:
    • ISO Construction Code
    • ISO Occupancy Code
    • Public Protection Class (PPC) Code
    • NonCat Ground Up Loss
    • IsFireSprinklerAvailable (commercial only)
  • Support for Canada IFM codes
  • Addition of the following secondary modifiers for United States storm surge:
    • Certified Structures (IBHS)
    • Foundation Type
    • Basement Level Count
    • Basement Finish Type
    • Custom Elevation (CE)
    • Base Flood Elevation (BFE)
    • First Floor Height (FFH)

    • Content Vulnerability
  • Incorporated the impact of square footage (livable area) on a building's wind resistance (using the Gross Area field)
